I’m a visual designer and GDMFA candidate at MICA’27.
I’m drawn to typography, language, and visual storytelling.
I enjoy exploring systems, breaking conventions,
and designing with cultural and emotional intent—and I’m a
huge lover of all things green.

"Pain as Pattern" is a project that maps my pain levels and the ways they have shaped my mental health over time during each menstrual cycle. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in July’25 but had been living with the symptoms since late 2024. This biodiagram depicts the intensity, type of pain, and my anxiety over 9 months.

MICAMAG was curated by 21 students, each spotlighting an artist or designer of their choice. I selected Alphonse Mucha, whose work played a significant role in shaping my early design practice. The project features three spreads per artist, with each student interpreting their chosen artist’s visual language. The challenge was to design within the artist’s stylistic framework while bringing their work to life through a contemporary lens.

This was the first project we worked on at MICA: designing a poster for an object that reminds us of home. I created a poster inspired by Housie, a popular game in India similar to Bingo. The design aims to capture the
game’s lively, social spirit through bold typography, playful color, and
dynamic composition.

As I was moving to a new country for my master’s, I began to feel like an unknown—almost alien in my own skin. During this time, self-portraiture became a form of therapy, a way to escape into a reality I could control and use to better understand myself. I felt like I was breathing underwater—disoriented, yet strangely empowered—finding the strength to move forward with my head held high.

Visual Design

Dime is a comprehensive Personal Finance Ecosystem designed to make money management accessible and engaging. It aims to transform confusion into clarity by providing in-depth yet easy-to-understand personal finance content. My primary focus was on designing the home and masterclass pages, which were critical to our launch. I was responsible for creating the entire visual experience, including imagery, typography, and
interactive effects. While the use of Generative AI tools to craft some of the images was not my initial choice,
I utilized this approach to align with the founder's vision for the website, ultimately enhancing its overall
appeal and functionality.
